Our Identity

Our Mission

To assist rural communities in creating a stronger foundation for individual and collective development by identifying, employing, and testing innovated, evidence-based solutions to address systemic socioeconomic inequalities and barriers they face.

Our Vision

Thriving communities with mutual aid, climate resilience, meaningful labor, and strong families.

Our Values

Effectiveness
We listen deeply to understand each other so that we can create solutions that work for individuals, not one-size-fits all "solutions" that only work for some.
Fairness
We create solutions that lift up everyone in our community.
Compassion
We approach one another non-judgmentally, remembering that everyone has struggles and everyone can change.
Interdependence
We approach one another with respect, valuing their unique experience and contribution, and including them fully in our decisions and solutions.
Openness
We will work collaboratively with those who wish to help their neighbors and agree with our mission, vision, and values.
